Job-shadowing

Job-shadowing

Spain

As part of the accredited Erasmus+ program project, the activity "job shadowing" took place, during which two of our teachers spent 5 days observing the teaching process at a partner school in Terrassa, Spain. The mobility included observations in subjects such as English, French, Spanish, and Catalan languages, biology, computer science, as well as various workshops and activities that took place both at the school and outside of it. We had the opportunity to exchange opinions, observations, and compare the positives and negatives of teaching these subjects. At the same time, we were able to share effective teaching methods, explore the positive impact of teambuilding activities, develop intercultural awareness, and deepen our knowledge of national identities. Part of the mobility also included exploring the historical, cultural, and natural landmarks of the Catalan cities of Terrassa and Barcelona. Special thanks go to our host, Silvia, who was the mentor for the entire mobility, as well as to all the other teachers who made the experience both inspiring and enriching. We shared our experiences and insights with our colleagues, presenting our reflections from the mobility.

Job-shadowing

Poland

As part of the Erasmus+ project, we participated in "Job Shadowing" at Debinka Primary School in Poznań, Poland. The aim of the activity was to observe teaching, exchange experiences, and familiarize ourselves with pedagogical approaches and teaching methodologies abroad. During our stay, we attended various lessons at different educational levels, including science, biology, chemistry, polytechnic education, mathematics, informatics, and workshops. We observed different teaching methods and styles, the use of modern technologies, and the relationship between teachers and student s, which was both friendly and professional. We also noted the emphasis on promoting critical thinking and student independence.

The mobility provided us with valuable insights into a different educational system, enriched us with both professional and personal competencies, and offered us the opportunity to apply new pedagogical methods in practice. It also helped improve our communication skills, establish connections with teachers and students from another culture, and develop adaptability and the ability to work in an international environment.

We shared our experiences and insights with our colleagues by presenting our observations from the mobility, which we were able to undertake through the Erasmus+ program.
